Call From Gaza: Open The Rafah Crossing Permanently And Unconditionally

Dozens of Arab and international organizations and leading personalities have joined an urgent call from Gaza to permanently re-open the Rafah crossing between Gaza and Egypt, which remains tightly restricted despite the fall of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in February. Israeli warship attacks international human rights boat Oliva

Following up on our report yesterday on the human rights monitoring boat Oliva, we have video today of the boat being attacked by water cannons from an Israeli war ship. CPS Gaza boat and crew were attacked with water cannons on 13 Jule 2011 at midday. The boat filled with water, as those aboard were hit in the face with powerful blasts of water. 

Irish Ship to Gaza release documentation of boat sabotage

The Irish Ship to Gaza campaign released documentation today that they say shows the MV Saoirse, docked in the Turkish coastal port of Gocek, was sabotaged in way “intended to endanger and/or inflict injury or death on Irish citizens as they went about their lawful right to sail on the high seas.”
