Palestine from My Eyes

Hunger strike diaries: the fate of Palestinian political prisoners is "our shared responsibility"

An ex-detainee Loai Odeh has taken writing as a way to express himself as one who has had enough of Israel’s brutality. This is my translation of Loai’s diaries of hunger strike that he wrote as Facebook status updates recalling his experience in Israel’s jails.

My journey in Jordan

I arrived to Jordan and I went to the Dead Sea where the reunion of the leadership program I went to America for was held. It was a bittersweet feeling to be on the other side of Jericho. I could see Jericho’s hills in the horizon line. I was so close yet so far away, since Israel’s apartheid regime deprives me as a Palestinian from Gaza from reaching it.
